OUR REVIEWS ....what our visitors say
from WJBQ 97.9 about our Farm 1/21/21
The greater Boothbay area is the essence of coastal Maine living. There's something purely magical about being surrounded by the ocean, the boats, stunning landscape, and a sense of small-town community.
Past the iconic Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay is Southport. Continue down to the coast and you'll end up in the magical and picturesque neighborhood of Newagen.
In the heart of Newagen is Cape Newagen Alpaca Farm. They sell locally spun natural yarns from their very own alpacas as well as alpaca clothing from Peruvian Link. They also have various home goods and skincare items. In addition to the shop, they offer and value farm education with helpful information and classes.
For the casual alpaca fan and lover of the outdoors, they have Alpaca Treks offered year-round.”

One Private PACA Tour Review
"The best experience! The best day So much fun Beautiful farm, so clean. The most adorable, friendly Alpacas. Anne and Mike are so hospitable and kind and full of information. So patient especially with the little kids. My 8 year old granddaughter was full of questions. Anne was so sweet to her. Treated her with such kindness and respect. Lots of adults don't do that with kids. This was such an amazing experience. I can't wait until next year to go back. Next time I am going to do the walking experience. Anne is amazing. She runs the farm with her very likeable husband, Mike. She tends to the Alpacas. She makes cookies for the tours. She spins the yarn. She knits items for their shop. She gives the tours. She processes the fur to the vendors. She couldn't be any nicer. She is a lovely, sweet lady. And her husband is also a very nice guy. Such a great day. Thank you Anne and Mike. BEST DAY EVER! My granddaughter agrees."
