We are offering a fun filled day for all - no experience needed! All you need to do is to attend one class. Each class will begin and end with a final product. Each class will host six participants. Each class will be held from 10-4 with a light lunch provided, at Cape Newagen Farm. All participants will leave the class with their very own alpaca rug made from our alpacas!! Instruction, materials and lunch provided for $185.00 per person. Two instructors per class. Fun, hands on learning! We offer community time to sit and stitch on Thursdays from 3-5 pm. Bring your hand work, or come to chat and have a cup of coffee or tea! Instructional classes are offered at different times of the year. Contact us if you have a desire to learn how to knit, crochet, card, spin, peg loom, or work with alpacas or fiber!
Youth Workshops Offered
We are currently offering workshops for children to learn about the care of alpacas and the use of alpaca fiber. Children must be at least 6 years of age. Workshops last 3 hours long and are based upon an agreed upon time frame between farm owners' and parents' schedules, typically 9-12 or 3-5. Each workshop is tailored to meet the needs of the alpacas and children involved. Each class is small with maximum of three attendees.
